                  The Liddlers

                  About the Liddlers

The Liddlers are a dynamic group of young fiddlers who live and perform in Central Ohio, under the direction of violinist and fiddler Alie Joyner.  Their repertoire varies widely and includes everything from Irish fiddle tunes to pop songs.  The group has made appearances at many festivals and community events in 2010 including the New Albany Founder's Day Festival,  The Slainte Celebration in Downtown Dublin, The 4th of July Blarney in the Alley and St. Patty's Day at The Pub to name a few!

Members of the group are classically trained violinists who range from five to thirteen years of age. The majority of the members are affiliated with The Suzuki Violin School of Columbus-Worthington, (a renowned non-profit program specializing in music education in the Suzuki Philosophy) although new members from other schools in the area may be accepted, pending audition and teacher recommendation.  The Liddlers raise money for the Suzuki non-profit school and are currently working towards raising money towards a sound system which would be used for performances by the Liddlers and the Suzuki Violin School of Columbus-Worthington.
